Dancer Girl

The slavic dancer girl
she danced in front of me
Mazurka, Krakowiak and Polonaise
from her
The little red shoes made
cheerful steps on the ground
and her full-colour dress
flew by the autumn wind

Her smile bloomed like a fresh flower
Her glancing green eyes looked at me
and her two hands moved gracefully

Then a cold winter came
there was no cheerful dance
but the sadness was there,
messages from her dance
Too large shoes under her feet
grey line clothes warmed her
the blanket of coldness
covered her every time

Her dying eyes showed the dark times
and it seemed would never end
will i see again her dances?

Hair, suitcases and shoes
in front of me
and hers crying at the corner
for her dreams that had flown away
