Since the Last Day

I know it has been a long time
since the last day I saw you
My soap bottle has turned into
white from purple -- almost empty
And I can see the silver base of
my smoked fish inside the blue plastic
And there are only two slices
left from my rice cakes
Does one day without you 
still mean one day closer to be with you?
I don't know.
I wish you'll come
before all the writings on the maps
start to fade away
